This is the first album from Sid Stutzman. It is easy to hear the stronger rock influence from his days as a club musician as he molds the new acoustic flavor around predominant percussion and bass. With two songs written by Jim Gallant, Right "From the Start" uses the talents of Sunny Skies Stutzman (Still in high school at this time) on Sax, Harmonica, and keyboard to color around the vocalizations of this Father and Son team.

The Second album boasts stronger writing and a more acoustic flavor as the writing team of Sid Stutzman and Ron Hall is reunited. Also the historical influence of songs such as "Miramichi" and "Stream People" is heard once again with the help of Sunny on Sax, Harmonica, and vocals; Craig Stutzman on Bass and Vocals; and Ron Hall on Guitar and Vocals.
